Lurita Doan, President Bush's reliable GOP operative at the GSA,
finally learned the end was nigh.
For months, Doan has faced a House probe over her dubious awarding of
no-bid contracts
to friends as well as possible
Hatch Act
violations for wrongly using her office to help "our candidates" in upcoming
elections. Doan finally
resigned on April
29th.
History's verdict on Doan as well as the "great president" she claimed to
serve, the Angel notes, won't be kind. |
